Last week the dining club was off for Valentine’s day. So Sam and I went out for a romantic Valentine dinner at J. Ryan’s on
the Grill. I had a delicious Surf and Turf dinner while Sam had the Lamb Chop which also was excellent. I had some Moscato
wine and totally enjoyed the evening. I love you Sam.
We have added a new restaurant to our family and I’d like you all to welcome
The Linger Lodge Restaurant. The dining club will be meeting there next Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30. If you have never
been there you need to give it a try. It is right on the Braden River and it’s like stepping back into time to “The Old Florida”,
the way it was over a hundred years ago. The food is fresh and tastes great and the décor inside is like nothing you have ever seen
before and the view outside is beautiful. Please come join us. Go back to original email and reserve your
seats and get the address. The Linger Lodge page, featuring our review, pictures and COUPONS will be up on our site next
week.
Other news…..
…..if you haven’t read the Bistro 502 story and checked out the pictures you need to go to the restaurant
section at the top left and click on their link to read my review and see the pictures. Sally really likes what they are doing.
……J. Ryan’s is expanding an adding a 2nd restaurant. It looks like the new J. Ryan’s on Clark will be opening Wednesday February 22nd if everything goes as planned. They will accept the same coupons that are accepted at their original location J. Ryan’s on the Grill.
Every Tuesday at 6:30pm several members meet at a designated Restaurant. Everyone is welcome and it’s a lot of fun. The restaurants usually does something special for us and they love to have us there. You will make new friends, you will share good conversation and you will enjoy GREAT FOOD!!! We also raffle off a couple of $50.00 gift certificates to one of our restaurants, with no additional charge for you, you just have to be there.
Go back to the original email and hit reply (please don’t forget to tell us
how many of you there will be). It’s that easy and Sally would love to meet every member personally.
I get emails all the time that say my spouse didn’t get her birthday coupons. The most common reason is they have registered
both people under one email address which will not work. Each person must have their own email address for the system to correctly
send out birthday coupons. It does not cost anything to add email addresses for Comcast, Verizon, gmail, Hotmail, yahoo, or almost
any other host you can name. If you don’t know how to add and email address you can contact your current email provider and they will
walk you through the process or you could Google a question like “how do I add a Hotmail email address” (for example) and you will
find the answer. The other choice is to ask you kids, I’m sure they know.
